Intracto largest Drupal specialist in Benelux after ezCompany acquisition
Intracto is already active in the Netherlands and employs now around 100 team members.

Intracto acquires ezCompany and becomes the largest Drupal specialist in the Benelux. EzCompany is the largest Drupal specialist in the Netherlands, with 50 employees.
EzCompany was founded in 2001 and is managed by Bas van der Zalm and Bas van den Nieuwenhuijzen. In recent years, the company has grown to become the largest Drupal specialist in the Netherlands with 50 employees.
The portfolio includes many great references such as governments, universities and numerous major brands (Jaguar, Land Rover, Graydon, …).
Drupal team of 75 colleagues largest in the Benelux
Bas van den Nieuwenhuijzen, managing director ezCompany: “To be honest: we weren’t actually looking for a buyer. It started with a casual conversation on the terrace with Martijn Vervoordeldonk of Have A Nice Day. He talked about the acquisition of Have A Nice Day by Intracto and how positive he experienced it. Becoming the biggest Drupal party of the Benelux together seemed like something to us”.

Demand for Drupal continues to grow strongly

However, Intracto continues to guarantee objective advice regarding the choice of a platform. The large technical team has all the knowledge for most technologies such as Drupal, Episerver, Umbraco, Sitecore, WordPress, Salesforce, HubSpot, Selligent, SharpSpring ….
Strong presence in the Netherlands and Belgium
The company ezCompany already has a solid reputation in the Netherlands. For example, the company occupies first place in the well-known Emerce 100 list in the category ‘Internet agencies Fullservice – Medium’.
With the acquisition, Intracto now has 200 team members in Belgium and 100 in the Netherlands. That was only 30 5 years ago.
Management of ezCompany stays on board
Bas van der Zalm and Bas van den Nieuwenhuijzen stay on board and join the group. Together with the Intracto team they are actively and confidently looking to the future.
